Hi, is anyone around that I could PM around an issue with work and HR. Feel like I am banging my head against a brick wall. HR failing to answer mine or my managers questions. Thanks in advance

Have you tried ACAS at all?

Yes spike to them last week but I think I need more specific response rather going straight for early conciliation approach. Trying to deal with union also.

Does your employer offer an 'Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)'? It's a telephone helpline and often includes basic legal advice.

I've not heard of it, but will check on the system tomorrow. Thanks for the suggestion.

I'm not a solicitor but I work for a union giving employment law advice.

wishingchair1 · 05/04/2018 17:36

It appears to be just a counselling service they offer may contact them to see if they can signpost.

Tufted could I message you privately at all. Even just getting a grip on the union process may help, as currently they are giving me no advice or reading anything. I am pretty useless on this site, so not sure how to pm on an app.

I’m a senior HR practitioner if you need any help from that perspective

TuftedLadyGrotto · 05/04/2018 20:17

Of course

wishingchair1 · 06/04/2018 10:39

Thanks everyone for their advice. I have PM'd a couple of people, so hopefully I may get a new perspective.
