Yes, there's something on the Crown Courts where you can enter the name, the court, the date (or maybe an approximate date) and it will tell you what's happened.

Well the story they told me doesn't really add up and when I was speaking to their sister about it she said "that's a new one" as in that version of events is one she hasn't heard before. I will check that site out thanks but I'm unsure of dates but worth a try.

You can call the list office of the court that hear the trial. Number of the court will be in the HMCTS website. Give the surname of the defendant.
