Invoice dispute

I have been in dispute with an estate agent over fees. Suffice to say the TPO were involved and the fees were discounted 40%. However when the invoice eventually arrived (later than the agreed date) the invoice is discounted 60%. Which I paid. They have since come back and said it was incorrect and they have reissued another invoice and requested I pay extra 20%. Legally do I have to pay the second invoice?

Yes. You owe them the money. You have to pay.

Of course you do!

Yes the money is owed - you need to pay

Though they do sound like the crappest estate agents ever!

Thanks, thought so. I cannot tell you how stressful the whole situation has been and how dreadful these agents have been . It involved the sale
Of my late mums property so was always going to be emotional. other agents have since warned me about their terrible reputation. You live and learn. Avoid the countryside group at all costs!
