Cctv to record abusive ex?

DC dad is the most charming man ever. Everybody loves him but in our relationship and since I left he's been horribly emotionally abusive but without anyone knowing or seeing.

I'm wondering whether to install a video camera at my front door to try to capture his behaviour. How easy is this to do? Would any recordings be admissible in court?

You could get one of those door bells that records.

Just google doorbell camera. They alert you on your phone and you can record it.
