Council planning enforcement

We have built an extension. Planning enforcement receive a complaint to state it's higher than agreed. This turns out be true. New plans submitted with height measurements given to us by planning enforcement. Plans passed. New complaint received. Height doesn't match plans.

What should councils next move be??

Measure height and check if it does? Confused

Why would your extension be bigger than plans that were approved?

The architect made an error initially.

Council have measured already and gave us new measurements so we could put a retrospective planning application in.

Now they have a new complaint regarding height. They want to send someone else out to measure now...

So let them measure it. Presumably you have nothing to hide and the complaint will be unjustified. Planning files are open so you can see who has made the complaint.
