The CSA are, as with everyone, closing our case down. They have however flagged an arrears of nearly £5k which the ex is asking me to write off. I've informed the CSA that he has paid around £1200 of these arrears that I have found evidence of and had that element written off. He's claiming he paid me cash and had me sign for this and if that is the case he will ask the CSA to take the matter to their fraud team for a fraudulent claim.
Now if he has evidence then why doesn't he just bring it forward and there the matter ends?
Given I've at no stage brought a case for money forward beyond asking for my monthly allowance what come back is there on me on this? If he does pay then locates evidence I'm more than happy to hand the money back and case closed. Hes sending me some pretty nasty emails and texts asking me to "reconsider the claim" And "think back carefully..." basically doing what he's always done and trying to gaslight me. I'm not having it and have said make no payment without knowing there is no proof there is no rush.
Bit garbled but what do I do about this mess?
