Changing surname in documentation years after

Hello. I've been married 11 years. I've always used my birth surname and never used my marriage name on anything. I have no idea why, I just never have even though my surname is from my father and my father never played a role in gym life I still used my surname. I think one of the reasons why I never used my married name is i I was never good enough to use my husbands name ( long story) but now I want to have the same surname as my family and don't any anymore connection to my father as he wasn't there and I don't want to be associated with him or other other family members anymore. Can I change my surname on documents even if I got married 11 years ago? Thinks like bank, passport, doctors etc?

I should think so, as long as you have your birth and marriage certificates. But it's a looong time since I did it...
