recently got probate for relatives property in London worth approx. £750,000. the solicitor handling the probate has offered his colleague to do the conveyancing when we sell, I had previously thought to go with the solicitor who originally handled the conveyancing when he bought it 8 years ago as he already knows the property-both giving fairly similar cost estimates all in around £1800-a) I'm told these quotes are on the high side, is this right? b)which one would be the best to go for? thanks!

Best to keep it in house imo. If one or other has a query they can just pop their head round their colleague's desk rather than faff about dictatng a letter, waiting for it to be typed, posted etc.
