Just that really.
We are selling an inherited house privately. The deeds have been taken into The solicitors and contacts are being drawn up this week, How long does it take to all go through?

Meanwhile, We have been approved for a mortgage on a property we have found. We have made a lower offer so we can up it if we need to.

I'm so nervous. We are in such an awkward position.
Our mortgage advisor has said we are in a good position as we have a huge deposit and no upward chain. Im just a bag of nerves Sad The house is a repossed property and wants a sale done within 6 weeks, is that possible?

Any help would be great!

Not sure why you think you are in an awkward position out what help you are looking for?

Regarding the selling of your inherited property, how long it will take well depend on what stage you are at. Have your buyers had a survey/got a mortgage sorted? Have all searches etc been completed? Ask your Solicitor for the expected timescales, that's what you are paying them for!

As for tote purchase, it is certainly possibke for everything to go through in 6 weeks if all goes smoothly.

Stop worrying and speak to your Solicitor and/or Mortgage Advisor.
