Cms.. Reduction for travel

So my ex didn't like it as I went to cms due to constant faffing with payments
Turns out he should also of been paying more.
Anyway he has since started getting it reduced due to travel. It's 11 miles each way. FRI and Sun. EOW.. Plus football club on the Sat EOW. Which is near mine. So would be 22 miles every other Fri and Sun. And then the Sat
How do they work out the cost of milage as seems they have reduced a fair amount £40 pm. and include the football club run too...
I know in my car it wouldn't use hat amount for them journeys and I have a very thirsty car lol

Or would he of included other things like clothing for my DS etc.. Which that's fair enough
But he chose to move away and it's not like it's the other side the country

Have you had confirmation from them that there is a reduction or is this just what he’s said?

They reduce For overnights normally which would be 1/7 off based on 2 night every other weekend. They reduce for travel if travel is vary far and there isn't a overnight reduction. I may be wrong but I thing travel has to be over 300 miles distance
