I feel like I've been shafted by my ex's solicitors.
Costs awarded against me
They send bill of costs with commencement at county court
I send PoD with open letter of offer at county court
Nothing happens for 5 months, no correspondence, nothing on this matter
Now, I receive a Court order from the High Court with the provisional assessment done and dusted
- My PoD not taken into consideration
- I wasn't even ware a PA was applied for let alone the date for it
- Cost officer just calculated straight of their bill of costs
Is this how it works? Or have I been properly shafted here?
