If I receive an invoice by post on Monday stipulating payment is contractually required within 7 working days do I count on from after the date of receipt or include the date of receipt as one of the working days?
For simplicity's sake - invoice arrives with us Monday 1st mid-afternoon. Is payment expected to be with payee by 9th of the month of 10th of the month? In other words, does the date of receipt count as one of the working days?
My head is full of cold and cotton wool and I can't work out which is right, nor find the information on Google.
