Car crash settlement and compensation

Hi all. Had a car crash three years ago (not my fault). Driver took ages to admit liability but finally did. Still not settled. Have been diagnosed as having fibromyalgia as a result of the accident - does anyone have any idea how much I can look at for a settlement? Solicitors still haven’t given me a figure as they say I still need treatment.

Passenger in the car has just been paid out and only got £2.5k which seems low for the severity of the crash (HGV wrote car off on M1) and the impact it had (he was self employed and lots of time off work due to accident). Any help or previous experience would be appreciated. Thank you :)

If it's more than 3 years ago and you still haven't issued in court it's too late. I do hope you've issued.
No one can give you an idea of how much it's worth without you being medically examined.

Did your doctor tell you that your fibromyalgia was a direct result of your crash? I am not a lawyer, but I wonder if you'll struggle to demonstrate that the fibromyalgia was caused by the crash, rather than being something you were always going to develop anyway.

Yes I’ve had medical reports with two consultants who both have said it’s a direct cause of the crash.
