Ex refusing to pay divorce costs

Ex was ordered by the court to pay my divorce costs on 14th August. I haven't received a penny. I've had my decree absolute (9th October) and my solicitor sent him a schedule of costs on 8th November. Still nothing. He didn't pay child maintenance for ages either, not until he was forced to.

What's the process with regard to getting this chased up and getting my money?

Thanks!

You need to get a bill of costs drawn up unless the court has already told him exactly how much he has to pay. This is a technical document that your solicitor will sort out for you.

If you haven't got a solicitor you should write to the court and ask a judge to quantify the costs he should pay, set at the amount of the court fee. It's not the proper procedure but it might work.
