Will we be asked for more information about Neighbour Dispute?

Hello,

We are in the process of selling our Bungalow. We had a dispute with our neighbour a few years ago. We contacted the council who contacted them, which resolved the issue.

We emailed the buyers after we accepted their offer to make them aware this will show on the seller's report, they were ok with this. We are going, to be honest in the seller's report and say what the issue was, the council contacted them which resolved the issue and there have been no issues since.

Does anybody know will this be the end of it or will I be expected to provide any further information or documentation? I am concerned this will cause a delay in the sale going through.

Thank you,
Amy

Depends on your buyer and their solicitor tbh.

That's the kind of thing I would have just pointed out to the buyer, and asked them if they wanted more info.

Some solicitors would take a stricter view and want to ask you for more info (e.g. Copy of complaint, copy of correspondence with the council or neighbour) before raising it with their client.

It's "how long is a piece of string" really. In your shoes it would be best to gather any documentation now and disclose it at the same time.
