anyone any contacts in Nevis ? Land/probate related .

I'm based in UK but need a service in Nevis - valuation - but firms seem reluctant to engage .

Is this because of perceived money transfer difficulties ? Can anyone help ?

Would be very grateful .

PS we do actually also need a lawyer/solicitor with knowledge of law in Nevis .But I've given up on that .

Thanks babybarrister .I have contacted numerous firms - one of them on that link actually - and they either don't reply or reply and then say they can't help .

It's such a small island with everyone known to eachother if not related and I wonder if they don't want to be going up against a friend ?
But also we did briefly use a firm on the island but stopped because they were referring to phone calls with the other firm but not telling us what was said plus other more worrying stuff involving unchallenged "errors" on paperwork filed to the High Court by the other solicitor .

So I imagine that record will put other firms off - too messy ,we're too difficult ,can of worms etc .

It's very difficult .
