Holiday pay

Can anyone tell me when holiday pay has to be paid. My employer originally wanted to pay it quarterly but now wanted to pay it at the end of the year. I can't find anything online about any rules.

Holiday pay isn't extra. Holiday entitlement is the number of days you can have off and still get paid. If your contract stipulates you can take pay in lieu of notice then it will depend on what the contract says, but I'd be surprised if they couldn't wait until the end of the holiday year before they have to pay you.

It gets paid when you take leave.

Some employers allow holiday pay to be carried over into the next year or pay itvin lieu if you havnt taken it all but you have to have taken at least 20 days holiday (assuming full time) except in certain situations such as accrual during sick or maternity leave.
