Finding out what the custodial sentence is

I'm hoping for advice on a case currently at crown court. I'm not involved in the proceedings but would like to find out what sentence is given to the person who is being sentenced this week. Will that information be made publicly available anywhere?

I phoned up our local crown court on the day of sentencing. I think it's a matter of public concern and you have to be given the result.

I believe the information is public record so should be readily given to you.
