My belongings are missing..

I lived with a family member for quite some time and we had a massive falling out and no longer talk. While moving out she agreed to hold my belongings in her garage until I was able to collect. When I went to collect my things quite a few items were missing. I did ask where they were and her response was 'I don't know'. They were all my daughters old things that we had kept for our next baby, my cousin has recently had a baby and I think she may have given them to her without my consent. What are my rights in this situation? How do I go about finding out and getting them back?

I don't think you are going to get anywhere here I'm afraid. It's your word against hers that they were even there, unless you have proof?

You could always send a "letter before action" telling her to return the items or you will take her to court, in the hope that the threat might be enough, but tbh it sounds like she no longer has them.

go see your cousin to get proof?
