Can anyone please advice us to help a friend out

My friend was evicted from her home yesterday with her 19yr old daughter. Evicted due to no fault of her own, landlord wanted the house back.

She was made aware of this in march that she would be evicted at some point, she would receive notice in the post. She approached the council regarding this as they found this property for her. She Filled in a application & supplied medical evidence. She also got told by case handler she would get rehoused by them as her daughter is under 21.

She then had a full abdominal hysterectomy in May. Since her surgery she suffers from really bad depression (feels very suicidal - in the past she had tried) really bad anxiety & panic attacks. She is having medication from her doctor for this & is also on a priority list for the CBT clinic.

So she was evicted yesterday and the housing team said they can't help her at all as she is not in priority need and didn't even discuss options.

She's been in touch with the local MP who's receptionist advised to appeal the decision. She's going to see the housing team tomorrow who have told her they even if they find a property for her she will only be housing her and not her daughter.

Can anyone help with advice? What should she do?

Don't know but my sister is getting evicted soon as the landlord is selling and she has 3 kids -18, 14, 12 ad they say the time it trakrs to get an offer of a council house will be 9-12 months!! She recently lost her partner so hasn't been able to grieve properly as she has the housing issue. There is an option of temporary accommodation but she feels this will be very disruptive and what do they do with all their belongings?
