Italian separation agreement _can I change it?

My sister got a separation agreement in Italy. She was married to an Italian & living there with her 2 kids. He was a bully & she would have signed any thing to come back to UK,with her kids. Unfortunately ,it states in the contract that she is supposed to bring her kids back to Italy ,3 times a year to see him ( even though he abuses drugs & alcohol & si controlling & manipulative.) Sh sought legal advice, in Italy , but they told her that she signed it & she must abide by it ! She has a low paid job (parttime) & in receipt of child & working tax credits.

I've lived in Italy too. It's almost impossible to get anything through the courts easily in Italy. it's long and very very expensive. Once the kids are living back in the UK for a certain period, check but I think it might be 6 months, the jurisdiction moves from Italy to the UK so she could challenge here.
