Obtaining PR for step parent whilst dad is in prison

Hi - a bit of a strange one here.

My ex-h is currently in prison. I have looked at the forms to get my husband PR for my 3 children (his step-children) and we have to go to court office to get forms signed, which is a slight problem with my ex-h not being able to do so. Does anyone have any experience of what can be done in this situation?

If you mean my ex then he originally said no, however he is currently 'thinking about it.'

You're goung to have to apply to court (C1). If your ex agrees he can sign a consent order. The judge may approve or may list a hearing to consider further.
