I'm a new poster so sorry for any mistakes I may make..!
My husband and I separated 4 years ago (my instigation) he stayed in the family home as I was unable to afford the payments on the mortgage and I am in rented accommodation. We have 50/50 shared care of our DD and as such I receive no money from him with regards to maintenance.
We have now decided to divorce. My question is, is there a way of putting my share of the equity of the family home into some sort of trust for our DH? I don't want him to have to sell the house in the event of any divorce settlement but I equally don't want my DD to lose out in the case of subsequent remarriage and children.
any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance
