My nan passed away in May and has left me her house in her will.
The will was made a good few months before she died, we found out then that the land was not registered, so she paid for it to be registered in her name.
When she died, it was half way thorough. It had to stop and the process had to start again so it will be registered in my name before probate can start. The solicitor has said it won't take long as its just me to inherit and only the house.
I have checked my bank the probate payment has been taken out, does that mean its started?
