Ex has changed children's addresses

We've finally had our final child hearing, and ex did not get the 50:50 he was fighting for! He got an extra overnight every other week, which I'm happy with, and which I agree works out better for dcs. So, we went from EOW (Fri to Mon) and overnight on Weds, plus all holidays equally shared, to add a Thurs overnight to the weekend he has them, so it becomes W-M on those weekends.

I was hoping that this will mean he starts to calm down, and we can (hopefully) one day get to a place where we can co-parent successfully. Unfortunately, communication with him is still fraught with anger.

I have just found out that he's changed DCs addresses and next of kin information at GPs, hospital etc, and will no doubt do the same with school.

Anyone had this experience? Will this ever end? Sad

Never had this happen but i would go back to court with this if you are the resident parent ie the one getting child benefit, tax credits etc.

Well done CaptM.

Did you have representation? How recent was the hearing, and when did he do all this?

Thanks MrsBertBibby.

Yes, he had representation and final children hearing was just a couple of weeks ago. We don't even have sealed orders yet!

Might be worth notifying the judge. I'd raise it if I were in the order-drafting bit. I assume the court made a "live with" order for you? Should be simple enough to get details changed back, but if not, a prohibited steps order should help.

You might need leave to disclose the order to school, gp etc, so a good excuse to contact the judge....
