Uncle died intestate and had 4 insurance policies plus savings . His brother was power of attorney for him for a number of years but uncle always suspected that his brother was taking money from his bank but as uncle had dementia was hard to prove this without causing a family feud . Uncles brother now refusing to give any details of the money which was left and when told that the other people who would have by law got a share of any assets he left knew that there was assets accused them of lying . What to do now ? Would prefer to discuss through private message if at all possible

Bumping . Discovered through bank statements that uncles brother had been taking vast amounts of money on a every second day basis from him . There would be no reason for this as the uncle lived in sheltered housing and all meals etc were provided and paid for separately by direct debit . What to do now

Contact the police. Then apply for probate and pursue him for recover of the funds on behalf of the estate.
