Just need a little help incase they mess me around I had an Amazon delivery today made by Amazon logistics as he turned to leave he trip over his own feet, fell into my neighbours fence and broke the dance panel! I called up and they said they'd call back in 72 hours!

What rights do I have in this? Will they just replace the panel that's broken and it will look all odd or all of it? My neighbour is lovely so when I popped over she was fine about it so long as it all matched.

Honestly? It was an accident - I thought you were going to say he broke trying to climb over it or lobbing it over. I wouldn't claim from them.

Just be aware, if he's injured he may try and claim from you if he was still on your property.

Why would they replace it? Confused

That's what my insurance is for. You've 'invited'them in and the accident has happened, just like if you invited someone round to dinner and they sat on your chair and broke it.

I buy big bags of dog food on a subscription from Amazon.

The Amazon delivery driver decided rather than leaving the big boxes 10kg boxes in the gated passageway like I had specified he wanted to put them in my garden and so 'posted' the over the fence.
In doing so he manage to break the top of two fence panels.

Amazon were very apologetic and implied at first that they would get it fixed but in the end did nothing.
I had to pay to have the fence replaced myself.
