What makes you choose a solicitor

How do you decide on a solicitor? Is the location the main thing?
Would you expect a high street traditional looking firm or do you choose from the internet and not give the office much thought?

Whenever I have needed on I have gone into the office and met them direct to get a 'feel' of whether I could talk freely /be able to confide without feeling anxious /stupid tbh. .
Recently I emailed a firm and spoke on the phone before a meeting but I expected to have very few as it wasn't a drawn out business.

Being at ease was important to me.
