Cafcass reports?

My partner is going to court over access to his children from previous marriage.

He's just spoken to the Cafcass officer who said that they might recommend to court to do two reports (?) one of the children's feelings and concerns and of parent's ability to meet the children's need of emotional wellbeing (description from his memory of what was said)

Anyone who knows which reports I'm referring to (if they are indeed reports) and has any experience of what they are?

It will probably be a section 7 report that is done. That will include the children's wishes and feelings, but also go into more detail regarding their welfare (including emotional wellbeing).

Ok, so it's only one report that covers all of it? Will it also cover the possibility of parental alienation?

CAFCASS aren't trained to assess for it but they may say if they think it's a possibility. Yes, just one report.

Please please go through the report with a fine tooth comb. Question anything that you aren't happy with.
Senior cafcass officer that was appointed my dc legal guardian for the case admitted on the stand he had based his entire report on info received by exh!! Wasn't impartial at all!!
