Probation and Cm?

Hi there,

My ex has been in prison and is now on probation - he has arrears on child maintenance and has failed to declare he has been back at work for the past 4 months, evading their calls and not giving information about his earnings. Is this a parole violation as he is fraudulently not reporting working circumstances to CMS?

Why don't you ring the probation service and give them this information? I don't know how they would view it.

The only way this would be of interest to probation in legal terms is if he is in licence and has not told his officer as he has to be given permission to work as part of licence conditions.

They may be sympathetic and nudge him about it and it can be done discreetly if you don't want him to know you've contacted them.
