PSO Taking kids on holiday

To cut an extremely long story short - I got a PSO against my ex husband as he was planning on kidnapping my children. Two years later and no contact at all between my kids and ex, ex is currently on bail for rape, domestic abuse and child cruelty (which he did to me and our children). My children are under 11.
My question is does anyone know whether I'd be able to take them abroad on holiday for a week to the UAE? The prohibited steps order is against their real father and not me. I have a court order saying that i have residency. Police also placed some sort of stop on my kids passports to stop ex from removing them from the country. Should i ask the police or can anyone help? Thank you

You have a residence order so you can go for up to 28 days without his permission.

You may want to check about the passports though.

Putting 2 and 2 together and probably making 100...
Does your ex have anything to do with the UAE connection? Some overseas connection I wonder as the block was put on passports.
Not a country with a great reputation for women's and mother's rights.
If your ex H has any UAE family connections I'd stay the hell out of that area.
