MAMAS AND PAPAS PRAM

Our son has been given a Mamas and Papas Pliko Pramette for his new baby boy.

The pram is about 8 years old.

It is a 4 wheel version but whilst we can swivel the front wheels they do not actually turn round. Is there a lever to release the wheels.

If there is a lever to release these wheels as we can't find it although we can find one for the back wheels.

Any help greatly appreciated.

I'm assuming you are a new user.
You have posted in Legal Matters which is not really where it should be, also it's not a good idea to use your full naans.
Have you emailed Mammas and papas? They have been really helpful to me in the past when I have lost bits for an old cot that was stored in the loft. I'm sure if you look forward n their website you will find Alan email address for customer services

Do you mean the wheels don't turn at all?

Do you think the back and front wheels have been mixed up during assembly? Back wheels don't generally have swivel catches..

I think the problem here is that the the 2 front wheels have seized up due to lack of use over many years. I have tried oil and WD40 but they are still very stiff.

Does anyone have spare/unwanted front wheels for this type of pram please?

If you can take the wheels of, give them a good clean and WD40 right into the mechanism.

To be honest, I think you're being a little optimistic expecting anything from M&P to be still functional after more than about a year.

Their Customer Service is notoriously poor. I live close to their head office, and they weren't even interested when I went in person.

Maybe try eBay from spare wheels?

I don't really have an axe to grind, but my experience of M&P is very much one of "style over substance".

Is the mechanism in the bar which connects the 2 wheels rather than round the nut under the hub cover?

M&P sell spare parts on their website, although the Pliko Pramette is a very old model. M&P parts
