PLEASE HELP! Access to babies

Please can anyone help. My ex partner has planned over 6 months to take my babies, since I was 3 mo this pregnant with the second. He has accused me of domestic abuse and took the children when he had me arrested on Monday morning. My little boy is 1 and my sweet girl is just 9 weeks.
He knows I can not get legal aid due to his allegations and as a "victim" he has been given it.
He has researched all of this behind my back and telling people he thinks I'm mental without cause. I am distraught with out the babies, I have two other children (previous relationship) who are totally heartbroken without their brother and sister. All the allegations are unfounded and now social services are involved. Any advice at all will be really helpful, please

OK - you need legal advice quickly. Call Woman's Aid. They will help. This is not something that unqualified people on the internet can help with (I say that as a solicitor). It is very complex and multi-faceted and obviously SS and the police are involved.

Presumably the police will be interviewing you. You are entitled to free representation during that process. That solicitor will also be able to.assist as far as their remit extends

The police have interviewed me and released me - no further action. He said we don't charge or caution people for an argument that got out hand. But when I got home he's gone.
I'm going to court tomorrow but i think due to his accusations they will not return them too me.
Just can't believe I been such a blind fool. Love truly is blind and terribly painful

Just located them and said they're not in danger. She is making an assessment over 45 days.
I can't afford representation and I'm not entitled to legal aid because he's claims to be the victim
But he has researched everything
A few months ago he was googling how to get legal aid and what was domestic violence, I asked him about it and he said because we were arguing I was mistreating him but I've just given birth twice in 10 months and he was constantly pestering me for sex hence why I got pregnant again straight away, that's what we argued about. And stupid trust issues.
I mean it's madness, all people have some demons, it's about trying to accept them in a relationship

Stop thinking about your ex googling

Your priority is to get them back. Are you the mother and are you breast feeding?

Yes I'm doing the application as we speak
My issue with the googling is the fact he was planning to take them
Who does that
I'm not breast feeding anymore I got very ill and had to take many meds after the birth
I was just looking for some support or hope from someone, anyone that may have gone through this and come out the other side with good news
