Help with kids passport form pls?!

Just renewing my kids passports and after my details it asks for their dads details and his passport number. We have no contact with him, does it HAVE to go on their?!

Not a requirement. If your details are on there (including your passport details), then that covers their right to a British passport. If you haven't had a passport you will have to send details of your parents to prove your right to a passport at which point it'll cover the kids.

Leave it blank and then give an explanation why in the relevant section

Thank tou both. Managed to speak to an advisor who said put as much info about their father (date of birth etc) then to send covering letter explaining no contact .
