Hi, if I own a house that is mortgaged in my name and subsequently married afterwards, does he have any claim over the house if we divorce?

Yes, but it depends on a few things.

How long you were married, any children, his contribution to the mortgage and bills etc.

Not a straight 50/50 split.

Yes. Property is a marital asset and will be considered as part of the financial settlement.

Lots of variables in how a financial settlement is reached, covering all assets, so not possible to predict what it might mean for you.
