Can someone tell me how long this process takes? I sent the forms to court 2 weeks ago. It's not ex-parte. Also will I have to go to court? Thanks.

You should have heard back long before now. They are usually issued on the same day.

Oh. I suppose I have to assume I wasn't successful then. ☹️ Thanks.

It may be helpful to call the court. The papers may have gone missing. If it was not ex parte then they may have put it with other applications and it could just be caught up with a backlog of work.

I think you may have to attend a hearing, but other more knowledgeable people on here will be able to give more advice on that.

Is there anyone like CAB or Women's Aid who are helping you and may be able to support you in a hearing?

Wasn't successful? You have the wrong end of the stick.

There will have to be a hearing. You get the papers back and have to serve them upon the Respondent personally (by having a 3rd party hand them to him/her).

It seems like they haven't processed your papers yet. Did you send a certificate of urgency with the paperwork?

This is one of the reasons why being represented is a good thing.

Ok thanks. That's very helpful. No certificate of urgency. I didn't know you could do that. This is long term but not frequent harassment.
