Hi, separated over 4 years with a separation agreement. I live in Scotland, as does ex. I received a letter today from a solicitor in Edinburgh entitled 'intimation of civic legal aid application' on behalf of ex. He's applying for legal aid to pursue a divorce. We have one child under 16, no financial orders sought. I phoned my solicitor and had a brief conversation during which she said that her concern is that I'd end up paying costs and expenses for this. I've sent her a copy of the letter and I'm sure she will guide me...but in case there's someone who reads this before I hear from her..what's my position?
