how long to charge

I am currently chasing the solicitors who did some conveyancing for me. I just want the bill! So far nothing and they did the work 6 months ago. It is like they don't want to be payed. How long do they have to send me an invoice before it is written off? Hopefully it is soon and means they will actually invoice me!

Have you actually moved house? Solicitors normally take their fee prior to passing on your purchase money to your seller.

Yep, I haven't moved but brought a strip of land. It is all done on land registry.
