Question re grounds for divorce

Can you divorce someone for being an addict? H gambles non stop. I am sick of worrying about bills and the children asking where is daddy. I thought as you a couple you spend time together, as a family you spend together but we don't. I am lonely, tired and fed up. Is this enough for divorce?

Also should I start a diary to show how little he is home?

His gambling and not being home would be unreasonable behaviour which is grounds for divorce.

Unreasonable Behaviour. Pop to a solicitors (free half hour consultation) to help you articulate it properly. I think you need specific examples to back up the over all picture.

Good luck.

The grounds for divorce bit is pretty easy and you could certainly use examples of how the gambling has affected your relationship to the point where it has irretrievably broken down. But you could also use much more trivial stuff. Unless the divorce will be defended, you have very little work to do on that.
But see a solicitor about everything else as you'll have a lot to work out with finances and the kids. Sounds like a horrible situation for you.
