mil's new neighbours have concreted over their drive

and have gone about a foot over the boundary into mils drive. what should we do? she is elderly so will need us to act on her behalf.

we have taken photos etc and the neighbours are out. the are tenents so not sure how I can contact landlord. I have left a note for then to call me etc.

I shall call council etc Monday is there something else I should do ? am Angry

You can do a search on the Land Registry web site to find out who owns a property. It's not confidential information.

the agents may indeed not give out details to a non-tenant, but as I have already mentioned they should forward information about the wrecking of the property.

should, of course...

BTW hope you reported your crooked agent to all the right people, including the landlord when you found them.

Also I think in law you can do what you like to the part of the drive on your land as it remains your land so just like if a bush grows over on to your land you can lop off the branches you could also take the axe and as neatly as possible cut this back to the boundary. I also suggest if you can afford it putting up a new fence so the boundary is clearer. it really is much better to leave some drainage in front gardens even if in just a few areas to stop flooding and soak up water.

Do report it to the council too.

I think there is a size limit of what may be covered in a non porous substance without pp and even then it must have drainage. Op's pic would suggest it is substantial.
