Today I found phone nos on my husband's phone for escorts (thread in Relationships). At the moment, before the shock sets in, I am posting about practical matters. We own a small number of properties and have a few thousand savings. The properties have equity in them. I am a SAHM who gave up a career I did not really like, but I do occasional freelance in another area of the industry, so my personal income stream is low. However, could it be argued that I gave up my career to enable that of my husband? He is a high earner and so we do not qualify for benefits. I do the vast bulk of the childcare. We have a couple of loans in his name eg car loan which amount to a few thousand. I do not want to sound like a callous cow, just setting out the facts. Before I confront my husband, would anyone be able to tell me what may happen should we go down the divorce road? I want to protect my position, and that of my DC. I think my husband is the type to play ball and declare all incomes (but who knows). Any advice would be most gratefully received. Thank you so much
