A few months back I changed my car and sent the relevant bit of the logbook back to the DVLA to notify change of ownership. A few weeks later a road tax refund cheque arrived. A few weeks later still another cheque for a slightly different value arrived. I was confused but paid both into the bank. Now two months later I have received a letter from the DVLA saying they sent a cheque in error and that to repay it i should send a cheque.
Any idea where I stand with this?
