Recently divorced and need to make a new will.
It will be simple

Everything divided between two children.
One is over 18, one is 16.

Can I do that online..is it necessary to go through a solicitor? I think my previous one was done online.

There is no law requiring anyone to use solicitors. I think it depends how much you are worth. If you will be over the inheritance tax limit it will definitely pay to pay for legal advice. if under just make sure you cover guardians for the 16 year old if her father is also dead and who will hold the money in trust for the 16 year old until they turn 18.

Also if you're divorced but not got yet your sealed court consent order on finances drawn up and still own a house jointly with the ex husband "sever the joint tenancy" otherwise if you die your half of the house notwithstanding the will goes to him as does anything else held as joint tenants such as joint bank accounts.
