Can anyone advise on adding guarantor to tenancy agreement please? Quick question

I'm renting out a property, and for the first time am doing it myself rather than going through an agent. One of the prospective tenants needs a guarantor, which is fine. I have the tenancy agreement and supplementary guarantor agreement in place.

But do I need to add the name of the guarantor to the tenancy agreement itself? i.e. under the section naming the Parties, does the guarantor need to be listed as well as the Tenants?

Any help appreciated! TIA.

The tenancy agreement should have a clause appended at the end which sets out the liability of the guarantor and which you ask the guarantor to sign so that they therefore become jointly and severally liable with the tenant/s for all tenant obligations as laid out in the tenancy agreement.

Thanks very much. I have the GA itself drawn up which covers all the points in the example you linked to (thanks), but I don't know if the TA itself also needs a further clause, and the guarantor name included, or the GA can just be added separately iyswim. Am struggling with the wording really!
