HI,

If one is receiving legal aid, are they allowed to ask their solicitor for a statement?

Also, is their a time frame within which it must be produced?

lastly, is there any legal reason why a solicitor may not have to provide it to their client?

There'so no requirement to give costs information if there is no possibility of you having to bear any of the costs, e.g.in a judicial review case.
