Online Company refusing to return phone

This is very dodgy. I sent my phone off to a company who offered to buy it online.

They then received it, halved their offer Hmm and sent an email with their terms and conditions on it after they received the phone stating I needed to pay £10 fee before they would send it back to me.

It's clearly very sharp practise and they're now refusing to send it back.

What would you do ? I'm thinking trading standards? Doing a small claims thing?

There terms and conditions are not on their website on any page - the only place you cam find it is in tiny typeset at the bottom - it doesn't even look like a clickable link

I'd start with Trading Standards, see if you can get some advice. These companies are well known scammers and yet they seem to get away with it so they may well be operating inside the law. Anyway, speak to your local Trading Standards, they'll know what you can and can't do.
