I have been fobbed off with various excuses as to why a damage deposit I paid on a holiday rental in The Hague has not been returned. There is no dispute over breakages, the owner just makes claims that it has been transferred but can't provide details and it never arrives.
I wondered whether there was a system similar to the English Small
Claims system and whether it it cost effective for small debts and if I need to appear in person.
