I have a major electric problem which I am in the middle of sorting out. If small claims is unsuitable for my problem, I.e the amount I need to claim and I need a solicitor what sort of solicitor would I need to reclaim the expense of putting right the electrics where no regs were followed etc

How much money is involved? You can claim up to £10,000 as a small claim. Even if the amount is more than that there is no requirement to involve a solicitor. You can represent yourself.
