I don't know if I've posted this in the wrong bit-apologies if I have.

I'm so annoyed, spent most of afternoon on phone to BT. One of the advisors I spoke to asked for the password for my bill account. I gave it to him (stupidly?). I've had problems with accessing my account. He changed my password and told me what new password is. At the end he informed me that I do not need to change my password again-my password can be a secret between me and him! I have now changed it but feel uncomfortable about what happened. When I called BT they had an automated message saying no one will ever ask for customer's password!

So, I asked to be put through to customer service so that I could report the man and make sure nothing dodgy has gone on, I've been told they don't have a customer service department! Lady I spoke to told me to tell her what the problem was -she does same job as him and may well work with him so I didn't trust any of them. The man's manger is calling me back tonight. I just don't feel very comfortable with what went on. Also everyone I've spoke to is in India-with poor English. Anyone know how I can get through to a BT customer service person in England who might reassure me?!

Thanks.

Who phoned who?

BT definitely have a customer services dept but did you call them or vice versa?
