Shares in deceased relatives name, executor didn't change them?

Executor is now on verge of having questionable mental capacity - what to do?

Send copy of grant of probate and stock transfer form to share registrar ASAP. Hopefully executor still has enough capacity to sign transfer?

Has the executor executed a lasting power of attorney or is a deputyship order being applied for? If the latter then you can ask the court to make a specific order to give the Deputy the power to act as executor in a limited capacity, ie enough to get the shares transferred.

We are trying to get the lasting power of attorney, but they are in hospital.
